Vintage Postcards--Library of Congress

vintage postcard

Description: No. 61595. The Central Stair Hall (2nd floor), Library of Congress, Washington, D.C. leads either north or south to exhibitions of Manuscripts, rare volumes and art treasures that are priceless. In this great building is housed practically the entire record of man’s progress from the very beginning of art, science and literature. The structure itself which occupied twelve years in the building, represents the highest achievement in American Architecture.
