Travel Album

This is another album from the dollar spot at Target. I replaced the ribbon with one that better coordinated with the paper I used in the album and dressed the cover up with a bit of the paper I used on the interior of the album.

My friend came to visit me here in DC and I made her this album to commemorate the trip.

The Capital

The Washington Monument and the World War II Memorial

The World War II Memorial

And some of the random ephemera we picked up over the long weekend

Scrapbooking on a Budget

I love all the great scrapbook supplies out there and am guilty of "having to have" specific papers, embellishments, albums. But I also like the challenge of taking something inexpensive and making it look 'expensive' and unique.

This album is a project I made for my cousin and her 'new' husband for their 1st year wedding anniversary. This album is one from the dollar spot at Target. Every so often they have a few and I pick up the ones I think I can use with my collection of papers. To dress this one up I removed the ribbon that came with the album and replaced it with thread and buttons from my stash that perfectly accented the album.
